It has come to our attention that several customers have experienced cam sensor problems with their Brian Crower cams on the 2AZFE engines (especially with aftermarket engine management systems). This is due to the fact that Brian Crower inserts their dowel pins too far away from the cam sensor. The dowel pins must be pushed out further toward the sensor on the end of the camshaft flange. Once this procedure is performed, the engine will operate fine.
