οΎ After installing and building numerous turbo
tCs, we have noticed a demand for stronger and longer exhaust manifold
studs for the tC. Several people have complained about stripping the
measly studs that are on the head when installing a turbo system. Not
to mention, the studs are not that long when you have a 1/2" thick
exhaust manifold flange on your turbo manifold. All you can get is
about 4 turns until it's tight on the flimsy stock studs and nuts. That
is no longer!
Dezod Motorsports has come out with a stud set that is
manufactured of 300 Stainless, which is impervious to rust and
corrosion, and are rated higher than Grade 8 bolts at
170,000 PSI of tensile strength. The studs have an 3mm Allen wrench port on the
tip of them to make for easy install in your 2AZFE cylinder head. The stud kit also comes with 12 point nuts and flat washers.
